Many people my age (71, don't tell!) balance is an issue. My Minnemals have really helped with that. I can feel the ground and on the stairs, my toes actually grip the steps making the ascent or descent easier. I just got my third pair (new Dune color!!), not because they wear out, but because I wear them every day, in the rain, golfing, on safari (true). I started wearing these shoes in October 2024. I have been struggling with lower back issues since 2016. I learned about barefoot shoes and was very skeptical. This is a local brand and I was ready to give it a try. The first month was rough, my hips, knees, and feet hurt so much. But they were getting stronger! I could feel how poorly I had been walking, relearning how to stride, not allowing the cushion on other major shoe brands to continue to be a crutch for my body aches. I have been going to the chiropractor for over 8 years, and once I started wearing these shoes I have not been to the chiropractor once! I have tried a few other brands of barefoot shoes, because of Minnemals limited styling, but I keep coming back because these are the shoes that keep my body feeling good. I agree with others that the sizing is smaller than you'd expect. I usually wear 11.5 and I fit the 10-10.5 V2 just fine.

Minnemals shoes have truly changed my relationship with my feet. That sounds so funny to say! But I've been to numerous natural chiropractors who have encouraged me to purchase expensive custom insoles and spend thousands on therapies, etc, but I now live without plantar fasciitis foot pain for the first time in several years as a busy Mom. I AM SO GRATEFUL. I'm on my second pair with these V2s! I wear them for everyday wear, walks, and at the gym, mixing them into my shoe lineup each day, keeping my feet strong. They've even helped stabilize my lower back pain!!

I stumbled upon these shoes after they were recommended by a YouTube fitness instructor. I was skeptical at first because all of the popular active shoes have the chunky, thick soles. However, after reading about the research behind barefoot shoes, I became convinced that less support could actually be better and could help with the pain I was having in my feet. I decided to try this brand because I liked the way the shoes look, so I ordered one pair and then came back and ordered another pair. These are the only shoes I want to wear now. Not just for workouts, but every day. I didn’t have a long break-in period like some say is common with barefoot shoes. Now if I wear other shoes that aren’t this style, I have foot pain. These shoes are a great purchase.
